FC Volendam kicks off its pre-season training on June 24. The players, including Robin van Cruijsen, will start their training at the facilities of neighboring RKAV Volendam. The club is still in the process of appointing a new coach following the departure of Rick Kruys. However, FC Volendam fans will have limited opportunities to see their team in action, as two of the three scheduled friendly matches will be played behind closed doors. The first match is set for Sunday, July 5, when FC Volendam faces RKAV Volendam, which competes in the second division. This match will take place during the club's open day. The other two matches are against Jong AZ on Saturday, July 11, and Almere City on Wednesday, July 15, but these will not be open to the public. The official start of the season in the first division is scheduled for FC Volendam on Monday, August 10, when they visit Jong PSV. This pre-season program offers the players a chance to prepare for the competition.
