FC Volendam has released all practical information for the home match against FC Dordrecht on Friday. The game at the Kras Stadion kicks off at 20:00, the club announced on its official website. The stadium opens at 18:30, ninety minutes before kick-off. FC Volendam currently sits twelfth in the Eerste Divisie with three points from three games, having recorded one win and two losses.

What do you need to know about entry and tickets?

Tickets for the match are still available in the online ticket shop. Supporters must carry a valid ID. Turnstiles are in use at all entrances to the Kras Stadion, which may lead to longer waiting times than in the past. The stadium is completely cashless. Consumption tokens are no longer used, replaced by special cards that can be topped up with pin or cash. These cards are available in the Fanshop, which opens on Friday from 10:30 and closes half an hour after the final whistle.

Where can you park and leave your bicycle?

Due to expected crowds and limited parking around the stadium, FC Volendam advises using the designated parking areas. Placing bicycles inside the stadium fences is not permitted. Bicycles can be parked on the school playground opposite the stadium, at the former St. Vincentiusschool on Meidoornstraat. The club explicitly requests supporters not to place bicycles in the front gardens of local residents. The bridge near Pegasusstraat and the P1 parking lot is closed around home matches, as it was last season. This crossing route is unavailable two hours before and ninety minutes after the match to reduce the chance of provocation between supporters. Placing bicycles near the bridge is also no longer possible.

How does the new cup system work?

FC Volendam is introducing a sustainable, reusable hard cup system. Three cup sizes are available, each featuring an FC Volendam design. A €1 deposit is paid with the first drink purchase. The hard cup is returned each time a new drink is fetched. After the final drink, the cup can be returned at the sales points, which remain open until after the match. Supporters then receive a token, which can be used at the next home match to get a drink without paying the cup deposit again. It is not possible to get the deposit refunded after the match.

What facilities are available inside the stadium?

Supporters in sections KA, KB, KC, and KD can walk past the main stand to the club corner for refreshments during the match. Due to the expected attendance, extra toilets (urinals) have been placed in each corner of the Kras Stadion. Smoking in the stadium is not allowed, and alcohol is not served to visitors under eighteen. The club asks supporters to adhere to the house rules, with an explicit request not to set off fireworks or throw cups onto the pitch. The club has already received multiple fines for such incidents.

What does this mean for the upcoming period?

Following the match against FC Dordrecht, who trail leaders Heracles by six points, FC Volendam turns its attention to the away fixture against NAC Breda on December 6th. That opponent currently sits seventh. The team has scored five goals and conceded four this season, a goal difference of +1. Fans can follow the full schedule on our fixtures page and keep an eye on the current standings. The immediate focus is on a smoothly run matchday and three points for the league campaign.
