FC Volendam starts a new season without assistant coaches Michael Dingsdag and Hidde van Boven. The contracts of the two have expired and will not be extended. Dingsdag was in service at FC Volendam since 2023, first as a trainer of Jong FC Volendam, then as an interim-trainer and assistant-trainer. Van Boven has been in service at the club for two years, which last season was relegated from the Eredivisie. Maikel van der Werff, current head coach of Hollandia from Hoorn, would join FC Volendam as head coach of Jong FC Volendam next season. However, it was announced on Friday that the former player of FC Volendam, Vitesse and PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie would join Henry van der Vegt in Zwolle as his assistant. The new head coach of FC Volendam is still unknown. FC Volendam needs a new team of coaches to bring the club back to the top.
